The Dark and Eternal Reflection
An avalanche of identity
All at one time lost in my own face
Where the stench of roses and deception stare back at me
As I become the being that stands before me
To rest in a bony tomb of lamented innocence
Lies in the skull hidden deep within yourself
Ashing the butts of a smoky eternity
Only to yearn for another opportunity at fate
Watching a tear knock the pieces of your life to shambles
Disassembling the being you know so well
Anxiously fumbling a narrow existence into place
As the winds of time condemn your inklings to anguish
