Through simple actions is your love conveyed.

I take each of these little treasures into heart,

And I pray that in due time, they will sustain me.

Through simple words is your love confirmed.

I lock each of these breathless wonders in my mind,

And I pray that in due time, they will not be fleeting.

Through a single moment in time, I promise you.

I give each drop of my pride to fulfill your desire,

And I pray that in due time, they will entertain you.

Through a single glance I hope that you can see.

I display each fall to you with my chest cut open,

And I pray that you ignore all the ugliness within.

Through clumsy words are my feelings for you confessed.

I have been holding onto to them within my chest.

And now that the time to let them go arrives,

I kiss them, “I love you,” and then goodbye.
