In a perfect world
There'd be no conflict.
There'd be no suffering.
But they say that conflict breeds creativity,
So there'd be no technology.
And that suffering breeds compassion,
So we'd all be detached.
There'd be complete equality between peoples.
No race nor creed could divide,
We'd all be equal.
But if we were all equal, there'd be no purpose.
In a perfect world nobody would get sick,
And everyone would be happy.
But without comparison, how would we know we were happy?
If we would help those,
Without asking any reward.
If we would give those,
That which we ought not spare.
In a perfect world
We'd all be Amish.
