Choosing Between Evils

Murder is a blood stained tragedy.

Death, gunshots, lies, and murderous thoughts,

deceit, pain, mystery, and unspoken truths.

When this happens, the victim isn’t the only one hurt.

If only you could see the pain behind those tear-stained eyes.

When a person dies, everybody is affected,

depression becomes part of those who’ve become infected.

Can you feel it?

Have you seen it?

You don’t ever want this to happen.

It’s a sick, sadistic game that you can never get out of.

You can always try, but when you do,

As soon as you get to the top you fall back down.

deep down into a place of no sound.

No sights, no sound;

just you up against life.

How will you fair?

As of now, with the way the world is,

the outcome isn’t so bright.
