Floating in the sky it stays
through the hours,
they pass in a haze

And when the view is gone
elsewhere it will float
until the making of a new dawn

Amber in its awakening
ginger as it wanes
clear in its breaking

Warmth and heat
the growth of life
an endless feat

Everyday it fights
so strong and bold
a boulder of might

And so day becomes dusk
things crawl away
floating away like dust
