This is my 50th post on FictionPress as of today, Thursday, February 26th, 2009..
About this Poem: I wrote this a long time ago, and it really sounded cheesey. So I edited it. Nothing personal or anything, just a poem.

If I died tonight,
If my heart was too tight, and it squeezed me in,
Squeezed me into a shell of nothingness.
What would you do?
Would you die too?
If I died tonight, if all hope was gone,
Would you sing to me, my favorite lullaby?
How could I have known, what our friendship was?
How do I know, if your friendship was just from years ago?
How can I do this?
Is it you I'll really miss.
When I'm away?
I was at the end
Here is the prize I pay,
I thought you were my friend.
If I died today,
I wonder what you'd say.
Was I really just a disappointment.
Why could I never forget,
that that was what you would never say,
So why did I walk away?
What if I died this evening?
What if you knew I was leaving?
What would you do
To make sure I'll get through?
If I died suddenly,
I would die, gratefully.
And even if the war is lost
I still remember I was breaking your heart,
And taking, ripping it all apart.
If that is what it takes to win,
I just have to say…
If I died tonight,
Would you hold me tight,
Until you were washed away with tears?
But that would only happen,
If I died tonight.
So celebrate (by reviews!) with me as I venture on into a new stage on FictionPress. (or something like that!)
