The pain is gone, but the love burns on…

The numbness seems to work for now…

But what will get rid of the love?

I live each day trying to get my heart

Ready for when the pain will poison

My heart again…

But can I really get my heart ready

For such pain?

Love is the potion

Pain is the poison

You think the potion

Will make you fly

But that isn't true

The truth is the potion will

Make your heart grow wings

And it will fly through the sky's…

But you got to be careful with that potion

Because it can be tricky…

If your not careful poison will come next…

Do you know what it will do?…

Well I do so I'll tell you…

It will cut the wings off of your heart…

And your heart will fall from way up above

The sky's…

It will brake into the tiniest pieces and go

Into never ending darkness never to see

The light again.

So does the potion seem so wonderful now?

How do I know?

Because I was silly and drank the potion

I wasn't careful and the poison attacked.

The wings got cut off my heart and it fell and broke

Just like the poem says…

It's been a year, it's been months, it's been days

The wings haven't grown back…

My heart hasn't seen the light yet again…

But for now the pain has eased….

My heart is waiting in fear for the poison

To come attacking again…

don't take the potion unless your sure

Your going to be careful…

Because if your not the same thing will happen
