Tornadoes for some reason just take my breathe away, and are a strange and surreal source of inspiration. While this short poem is an attempt at giving respect to one of the world's most deadly natural disasters, it doesn't do their immense power justice.Rated: Fiction K - English - Poetry/Spiritual - Words: 51 - Reviews: 2 - Published: 02-27-09 - Status: Complete - id: 2640578

With the sorrows of a twisted tragedy.
Our lives and our pride,
To the breath of a storm enraged.
The debris and the dark,
The electrical sparks,
A home under siege.
By the strength of the ferocious God
Of natural disasters.
