upon the darkening sunset

reflected on rippling waters

there was the scent of undying memories

when did you say goodbye?

your smile seems so far away

the ocean salt still reminds me of you.

those same steps without footprints

the tender moments gone like the wind

even if my heart breaks

even if you are buried

upon the gentle lips of sunset

i won’t cry bitter tears,

because even tears will disappear

dry&scatter like dust
