His eyes of emerald green

Reflected the beauty of his soul

That could not remain unseen

He was surrounded by light

Basked in its glory

Chasing away the night

Rays of love from his caring heart

Brought peace to everyone around

At every ending he found a new start

His presence was enough

To bring the unbelievers faith

And teach mankind to love

.

He was an unreachable dream

No one could quite grasp

This being so supreme

Some said he was an angel, from the heavens sent

The one that held the answer

To what life really meant

.

He helped people find

A reason to live and love

But fate was not so kind

.

A mind so twisted and insane

Attempted to break his spirit

By inflicting agonizing pain

.

He watched his loved ones die

While he was granted life

Until no one was left, to hear his cry

.

All soon became aware

That life had taken its toll

Leaving him lost in despair

.

When he felt no more joy

No one could quite blame

That once so innocent boy

.

As the shadow entered his eyes

That used to be full of life

It came as no surprise

Once he entered the twilight

There was no more turning back

Gone was he who had shone so bright

So summer ended and autumn came

The light of pureness diminished

Leaving behind only bitter rain
