Her eyes hurt

like she wishes to cry

they won't let her

her friends joke

make it funny

it shouldn't be

her voice is gone

she cannot speak

she tries

but the words

refuse to come

stuck in her

small throat

she tries to laugh

with them

but it's not funny

and her laugh

is broken

she wants to scream

but she can't find reason to

it's all so cruel

all so perfect

so she stay silent

and sits

watching and waiting

dieing inside

and wanting to cry

with no voice

to call out for help
