Uncle, cousin, sister, brother
Husband to a widowed mother
Child to a mourning parent
Pretty woman, sultry, errant
Man with nothing but his sin
Calming demons enter in
As the lie begins to swell
I promise you that I won’t tell
Lifeless body on the ground
Pitter patter, laughing sound
You stare into an empty screen
Upon his brow, a sweaty sheen
An echo of a shadow, lost
Angry line was often crossed
Empty mirror—shines no clearer
Hatred draws the shadows nearer
Saddened, wet and crying eyes
Heavy in the air, the lies
Unimpressed and unpaid jury
Watch, immune to all the fury
Make sure that the font is normal
Tightened smiles make it formal
Shinning teeth, a crooked smile
Rotten and corrupted guile
Make your speech to all the world
The ugly beast slowly uncurled
The sleeping dogs no longer lie
All there’s left to do is try
And if, but once, you try to run
The echo of an angry gun
The laughing of a maddened crone
A gurgling and unfiltered drone
Sorry, there ain’t no-on home
Try asking the garden gnome
Maybe he can tell you why
And comfort you and let you cry
But after wards you’ll pay price
I’ll see you crawling with the lice
But I won’t say I told you so
Because I’d already let go
Watched you sharpening your knife
Didn’t want to waste my strife
So I’d close my eyes and pray
And thank the lord and hail the day
That you would make your one mistake
And kept my distance, for your sake
AN-Yes, I stole phrases I have used before for this poem. (insert shifty glance) I hope I don't get in trouble with me for that...
