A face let limp in deepest sleep

Shows no emotion for me to keep

But utter calm and peace arise

To wake you is my own demise

All you need is a desk, and a chair

A backpack pillow can be shared

The only thing is we’re far away

And when were close, awake we’ll stay

Enjoying the other’s company

That’s how it is for you and me

So for now, asleep you’ll be

It’s the blush I won’t let you see

Stolen glances don’t put my heart at rest

It’s your voice I want to know best

When you leave it’s my greatest woe

But for your sake, I won’t let it show

Now I’m in my bed and I can’t sleep

I think of you and my tranquility steeps

Look at what you do to my soul

But any other way wouldn’t be whole

So let your face limp in deepest sleep

Let me savor every emotion I can keep

For utter calm and peace arise

And waking you would be my own demise
