Where am I?

Soft, warm air surrounds me.

Lush green is what I see.

Smoke is my pillow, song is my blanket.

Flicker, flicker, fireflies dance.

Insects join me in my sanctuary.

Some love my sanctuary, others don’t.

Birds are priests, trees are bibles.

Nobody hurts me, I’m safe here.

With my family, some friends.

Be brave, know love.

Darkness thickens, waiting for light.

Wait for morning, wait for sun,

Sun is my friend; night, my enemy.

Morning comes, sun is bright.

Sun has come, and sunrise is beautiful.

Afternoon is pleasant with rain.

Rain drip drops down the walls,

Streaking smiling faces, running in to dry.

Lip, lap, lip, lap, water tugs at the land.

Splash! Splash! Splash! Fish jump for joy of rain.

Camping
