I see you in your wooden cage
I see you sitting there
Just wiggling your little nose
Long grey ears
flat on furry back
I see you, yes I do
The Lady always yells at me
Whenever I come close
But she doesn’t know
You’re daring me
Just wiggling your little nose
I see it, yes I do
I don't usually put comments in my poems, but oh well...
I wasn't sure if readers would get this, so here's an explanation.
The poem is about my dog Urban, who always seems to be so focused on my bunny Snuffie.
Sometimes I wonder what he's plotting...
Well, I can't leave him alone with Snuffie that's for sure!
