A pretty pretty little poem if I do say so myself. Comments appreciated.

Rain-children let

their blue glass toes

pitter-patter

across the skylight

above me.

Thunder bellows,

their mother is calling

and a worried scowl

presses its away

across soft gray clouds.

Lightning flickers,

a lantern flashing

though fog

yellow-white beckoning

wet children.
