The Night

By Feeré Goroné

The sun sinks below the horizon,

Bringing the arrival of night.

Darkness engulfs everything,

Cloaking the world in a robe of secrets.

The celestial bodies:

Stars and Moon alike,

Shed light on the darkness,

Chasing away the nightmares,

That pervade the vaults of sleeping minds.

And though evil no longer rules the darkness,

The mystery of night remains.

That was just a quick poem I wrote in English class. I thought I'd put it up here since I think it's pretty good. Anyway, I'm about three quarters done chapter fourteen of VICE. It should be up in less than two weeks. Sorry for all the waits, I've been pretty busy.
