I usually write poetry, and this is my first crack at writing song lyrics. It's based on a relationship between an older brother and his toddler sister.

She's got a bruise on her brain
and a demon in her fingers
When she writes down the words
that will make you realize.
Come, little darling, I know you want to
Come on, sweet baby, I will be loving you.
Are we born wicked? You know I am wonderful.
You know I am wonderful.
When the bird sings in the morning,
I find you bathing in the sunshine.
Oh, how simple would it be, oh, how simple it would be,
if it was just you and me.
Come, little darling, I know you want to
Come on, sweet baby, I will be loving you.
Are we born wicked? You know I am wonderful.
You know I am wonderful.
The end is coming near, for our time to be over.
But with those words,
that you write down
I'll always remember you,
Yes, I will always remember.
So when you hear this song,
let it remind you of the time
that we spent
together.
