On the Day It Rained…
4.25.08 – ed. 3.10.09
On the day it rained,
she could barely get through
solemn, and a frown
It was one thing and another
after another
like a car wreck
when she crashed
there was no smile
and there was no laugh
just…
silence
But when she stepped outside
And saw the rain
dripping… dropping…
falling…
she stopped for a second,
and she stepped into the torrent
lifted her head,
she smiled
and she spread her arms
and danced
A/N: So, I wrote this about a year ago, and it was on my other account... I found it when looking through old poetry and decided to rewrite it and make it better
I hope you like it
