A/N- I wrote this in the tenth grade. Every one of my friends bugged me about my crush and wanted to know who it was… No, I never even spoke to him, because I was REALLY shy. … Geez, I wish I was back in high school… Those were the days.

Crush

I wonder if he likes me. I wonder if he wants to date me. He's so hot!

"Oh, come on, Brandy. Please tell me who you like?" a friend pleaded.

"Not yet." I said.

"Why not?" They said as they gave me the sad eyes.

"Because it's a secret. Duh!"

"I know, but could you write me a note and tell me in there." They handed me a notebook.

I pushed it away. "Nah. I'm too embarrassed. Maybe tomorrow."

I think about him everyday. I wonder if he thinks about me too. Probably not, because I don't think that he knows I exist… well, in his world anyway.

"Brandy, I just heard you have a crush on someone." Another friend said excitedly. "Who is it?"

"No one." I lied.

"No, really. Who is it?"

"I just can't tell right now." I was too shy.

"Why? It's just a crush."

"I'll tell you later."

"Alright," they sighed. "Promise?"

I shook my head yes.

I wish that we could go out on a date, to the movies or to roller-skate. Maybe he'll be my boyfriend, and we'll be a couple until I don't know when.

"Hey, I heard you have a crush. Is it true?" Yet another friend asked.

I just blushed.

"So it is." They smiled. "Who is it?"

"Nobody."

"Okay." They thought for a minute. "What's the first letter of his first name?"

"I don't know."

"Yes you do."

I sighed heavily. "Same as mine… B."

"Um, now, what's the last name start with?"

"Uh, um…" I paused. "What's my mi…"

"What's your middle name?" They asked excitedly. "N!"

"Yep." I was embarrassed.

"Aw! You like Brandon…" I cut them off and said, "Shh! Don't say his name. It's a secret, remember!"
