Awaken stiff in milk-white sheets
Whisper to me through the smoke and sleep.
Dream of starry eyes and move with me,
Beneath this endless foggy sea.

Draw this form,
Make it complete,
Kiss my mind and
Bury it deep

Folded up in silk-light pieces,
Dressed in red and gold,
(Arranged so delicately on Your table)
Crushed lilies painted black
And shining like the Soul
(Hang it in the sky,
Pray that they see fit to cry)

Crystal glasses filled with Sake-red secrets
And laughing girls with golden faces,
Simple hearts plant complex seeds,
Return them now to lonely trees,
Smashed and shattered, shining, glowing
Carved into these lonely, beaten-blue and battered places.

But you have found the joys of pure things
And I’ll keep dancing in my silver ring,
Harshly kissed by beams of light
(They’ll dance and play upon my Soul tonight)
I’ll laugh and strive til I am dead,
(Siren-songs of faerie-roses, cold with un-delight)
Pray and prey and cast my form away instead.
