Dear Marcia,

Lately, the forest seems most enchanting. I sneal off in the morning to play. It's very fun! I search for the fabled Swinging Soul. You remember the legend, right? The Swinging soul hides in the forest, and if you hear it's soft voice and call out to it, it will tell you your future! I haven't found it yet, but I'm trying, believe me, dear sister, I am!

What I did find is a secret garden that I never knew was there. It's absolutely gorgeous! I call it the "Quiet Paradise". There are ruins of pillars and beautiful flowers, and you can feel a soft breeze all times of day. It's a magnificent place! It's foggy some days, which is very odd, but most days it's beautiful. You can even here singing from the plants and trees! It's a most glorious sound. When you come back from your trip, I'll show it to you and only you. It'll be our secret, okay, Marcia?

Papa will be leaving soon to deliver milk and eggs to the will be very tough since mama still needs rest. Poor Marcus has to do field work all by himself. I want to help, but he won't let me! He says it's to dangerous, but it looks safe to me Huff!

How many more weeks? 8? Oh, how these weeks go by so slow it seems!

Dear Marcia,

The days are getting warmer and warmer. It's very relaxing, but sometimes the heat is unbearable. I would rather it be cold sometimes, but that would cause the animals troouble, so I do not make that kind of wish.

With warmer weather, Andrea is able to come over and play now. Alecks comes, too. He and Andrea are becoming good friends. I'm so happy! He is so much happier it seems. Andrea says that he should talk to the other children, but he is still to shy. One day, we'll get him to talk to the others!

At night, I'm hearing whispers, but they are not from the Swinging Soul. They sound like faeries! It's exciting! All they do is sing lovely songs that put me to sleep. They are very kind. I can't see them, only hear them. It does not frighten me one bit, because I know they are nice faeries. You must hear them when you come back.

Dear Marcia,

It seems these days I feel fainter and more tired. I can't do as much work as I would like too, I've been get head aches more frequently, and by the end of the day I can barely move a muscle. I haven't told anyone, because I do not want to worry them, what with the scare we had with mama. I'm just over working myself, that's all.

Mama is doing much better! The doctor says in two weeks she'll be just fine! We're all so happy! She's very relieved, and is happy to be able to help out again. I'm so very happy! I bet you are too, right, Marcia?

I heard the whispering faeries again, Marcia, but they weren't singing their usual lovely ballads. They were very frantic and worry some. Last night they were saying "Watch over your mother! Watch over your mother!" It was very odd. I wonder what that means. Mama is perfectly fine. Why do I need to watch her?

It worries me, but I will not let it show. It's most likely nothing, right?

(A/N): OMG! FAERIES!

Well, there's chapter 3! I'm not going to post chapter four until next week, now.

I bet some of you are wondering what the span between Linette's letters is. It's about one letter every day-3 days. She loves writing letters to Marcia, as you can see. ^^ Also, in chapter 1 I accidently spelled her nam "Linnette", but be assured, it's "Linette". That was my bad, sorry. Please R&R!

Cheers~
