Don’t Leave This Life

Cowboy boots and wrangler jeans

Down dirt roads not much seen

You tell me that you want to leave

But that’s not something I can believe

We’re out till 3 am at the rodeo

Yelling as loud as our hearts can go

We’ve got the country music turned up

Cold beer in the bed of the truck

And you tell me that you want to leave this

I can’t believe this ain’t something you’ll miss

Don’t forget all those nights out late

Those stars aren’t something easy to hate

I know you’re gonna miss this land

Don’t tell me you won’t come back again

But if you really want to leave this town

Just know if you come back I’ll around
