I stand alone tonight when you walk by

All you see is emptiness beneath the sky

If tomorrow came and I wasn’t there

Would you miss me if I were gone, the earth bare

Even if I’m dead and dying with nothing to give

Don’t tell me for all I want is just to live

I don’t want to know for I am alone

As if I were ground to dust and bone

I look at you and you see through me

I am the invisible for there’s nothing to see
