McSlut
Epilogue – One Year Later

Trenton Harris folded the laundry grumpily and placed it into the basket. He sighed and looked down at his orange jumpsuit. After everything had come out Natalie’s father had pursued legal action against him. He’d been sentenced to fifteen years in jail. Apparently, it was rape if you blackmailed someone into having sex with you.

A year later and he still had fourteen years left, ten if he got out on parole. He used to earn $50,000 a year teaching, now he earned $20 a week doing laundry in prison. He picked up the basket and brought it to the guard that would take the laundry where it needed be taken.

Jen flopped on her dorm room bed and turned to Sara who was lying in the bed across from her. After graduation, they’d both decided to go to the state college. They applied to be roommates together.

“Are you going to the party tonight?” Jen asked. She’d let her hair grow out and had died it a light brown color. Over the summer she’d grown out of her punk style, much to her mother’s immense pleasure. While she still showed hints of it in her clothing, she’d fallen back on a much more reserved style. She no longer needed her clothes to stand out.

“Yeah,” Sara said. “Brandon is meeting me there.”

Brandon was Sara’s current boyfriend. After prom night, Harry hadn’t been able to find it in himself to forgive Jen. Jen, seeing how crazy she had become faced with her crush, had decided to swear off boys until she could figure out how to handle them.

“Sweet,” Jen said and glanced at the clock. She’d come to the room for a quick breather, but now it was time for her to head off to class. “See you later.” She waved goodbye and left the room.

“Go long!”

Harry ran as fast as he could backwards and stretched his hands out to catch the football that was soaring through the air. He’d been accepted on a sports scholarship to the University of Arizona. He’d happily fled the East Coast, and left the drama behind. Here, he could focus on academics.

The ball connected with his hands and he smiled. He brought it backwards and threw it back to his friend.

Neil Jones had been fired, but spared the wrath of Natalie’s father. He left the state and found a job on the other side of the country at a little private middle school where no one would ever find out what had happened. Julia Jules, his girlfriend did her best to forget about him and in doing so found herself another wonderful man that didn’t turn out to be dating an eighteen-year-old on the side.

It was moving day for Nate. After graduation, he’d gone to New York City for college at Columbia. Natalie had followed him there when she had found an internship at a fashion magazine. Because of her father’s immense amount of money, she’d been able to afford a nice apartment nearby. After dating for a year, Natalie had brought up the thought of moving in.

Nate had been hesitant. After his parents showed their support for the idea, he’d finally said yes.

He carried a box into the apartment and set it down. Natalie put her hands on her hips and glanced around the room. “You’re such a dork,” she said, picking up one of the boxes and lifting out a yet to be opened Batman action figure. “Who buys action figures and doesn’t take them out of the wrapping?”

“That’s a collectible,” Nate insisted.

Natalie dropped the figure back into the box and rolled her eyes. “Whatever,” she said. “You’re still a dork.” She smiled and walked towards him. “Do you christen the new sheets I bought to celebrate the occasion?”

Nate’s eyes widened. “Now?”

They’d yet to do the deed. After Natalie’s colored past, she had wanted to wait. “I think we’re ready,” Natalie said taking his hand and leading him to the bedroom.

“I think we are,” Nate agreed.

Author's Notes: A lot of people weren't happy with the way I ended things with Jen & Harry last chapter... I suppose you still won't be happy now. (Evil laugh).

Well, it's finally over. I want to give a big shout out to anyone who ever reviewed, story alert-ed, or favorited. I also want to give an especially big hug to oHriginal and Kiliro for faithfully reviewing almost every chapter. You guys really mean so much to me!

One more thing, if you liked this story, than you (might) like my newest story: How to Seduce a Woman in 11 Simple Steps, which will be better written (with it's very own beta) and much longer (this is like a novella, whereas How to Seduce a Woman in 11 Simple Steps will be more of a novel).
