Ever Again

When its over will I see you again
Will I walk past your house one more cold night
Too afraid to knock on the door

I want to turn a corner and see you walking by
Wildflower tucked in your hair
We say hi, we say our goodbyes
I don't think you know how much I care for you

It's the same story told a million times
Though no one has told it about her
No one mentioned sapphire eyes
Looking at gulls circling the seas as she blinks
Not a person told me of her grace
