She just relearned how to see color

Up til now
The world was ashtray gray
A cancerous pattern
Where she suffered

All the air was nicotine
And the sun just made things duller

The rain came down as mud
She forgot the gleam of water

One sudden rush fo self assurance
Unprovoked but long time coming

And she recalled that her world
Was patternless
