SCRIPT – SCENE ONE [5]

{SANDRANO RIDES UP TO HIS SISTER AND SOME OF HER FRIENDS PLAYING IN THE FIELDS}

SANDRANO: Girls. Soma Arnosat Renooma is ordering everyone back to the village. She senses that something isn't right. You four are to return with me immediately.

{Nariamora and her friends nod and get on their horses riding in front of Sandrano)

{Sandrano turns around in his saddle to see behind them)

{The Wolf God charges out of the forest at the five people)

{Sandrano notices all the grass dying under the Wolf God's feet)

SANDRANO: The Wolf God has turned Demon. You keep going and I'll hold it off.

{Sandrano turns and waits for the Wolf God)

SANDRANO: Great God from the forest! Do not approach this village! If you must, engage me in battle! Kill me and you will kill the last prince of the Artimochi!

{The Demon charges at Sandrano}

{Sandrano looses one of his arrows into the Demon's right eye. Then he and the beast start circling each other.}

{The Beast turns and sees Nariamora and her friends running towards the village}

{The beast charges at Nariamora and her friends}

{Sandrano slings his bow on his back.}

SANDRANO: Hi-yah. Come on Shadowmark.

{Sandrano leaps off Shadowmark onto the Wolf God's back}

{Sandrano then starts choking the Wolf God}

{The Wolf God throws Sandrano off his back, bites down on Sandrano's left elbow, and throws him away}

{Sandrano hits the ground clutching his arm}

{Nariamora turns to look at Sandrano}

{Nariamora rides back at Sandrano)

{Shadowmark walks up and nuzzles Sandrano}

{Sandrano pulls himself onto Shadowmark's back and rides after the Wolf God}

{Nariamora turns back towards the Village)

{The Wolf God transforms into a winged beast with a wolf's head and picks up Nariamora)

SANDRANO: Dasde!

{Sandrano's sword flames up}

{Sandrano slashes his flaming sword through the Beast's torso}

{Sandrano leaps off Shadowmark and unfurls his wings)

{Soma Arnosat Renooma runs over with the rest of the village warriors.}

SOMA ARNOSAT RENOOMA: Sandrano! STOP!

{Sandrano leaps off the ground and begins flying)

(Vines shoot up and catch Sandrano's wings)

{Sandrano screams in agony and plummets to the ground)

(The vines release Sandrano)

SOMA ARNOSAT RENOOMA: Sandrano. You will come to my chambers with the rest of the Elder Council and discuss what will be done about Nariamora. You will not follow the Ancient God. Is this understood?

{Sandrano stands up)

{Sandrano bows)

SANDRANO: As always Wise Woman.

{Sandrano straightens)

{Sandrano cleans his sword on the grass and walks away)
