Cacophony

Duplicitous duality,

Infernal morality.

Tell me what the

Hell we even came here for.

Empty pews,

Discordant hues.

There’s panic in the streets

And violence on the stair.

Where?

Or why?

Guess it’s “do or die” but

Maybe we should lie

And pretend this is the end.

But when?

How long?

Who’s here to sing the song

When all is wrong,

And I am gone?

Gone?

There’s no one here,

No more to fear!

But still the feeling lurks,

‘Cause statues smirk and

For all my quirks,

I blend in reeeaaal swell.

Well?

Don’t I?

Author’s Notes:

I wrote this during school while the teacher was lecturing…didn’t take very long, and I know I still have some editing to do but….oh wells.

I’m in school now, haha. I should be paying attention and working…

Oh, and EverLiving, I’ll get to your email ASAP. Yahoo is blocked on the school computers. 
