"Go away, Aiden," I sighed, walking up the steps to the main building of my school.

"Not unless you agree to talk to me," he said, sounding annoyingly arrogant.

"I don't believe there's anything to talk about," I said, not bothering to look at him.

It was a week after my argument with Aiden, and he had taken up stalking me. He'd shown up at my school for the past three days in a row, and even though I refused to give him the time of day, it didn't stop him from harassing me.

"Liar," he said, following me. I sighed, closed my eyes and counted to ten before I turned back around.

"Aiden," I said, slowly. "I am almost six months pregnant. I have peed 5 times in the past two hours, my back is killing me, my ankles feel like they are about to snap in half, and my boobs are doing something really freaky. And on top of all of this my hormones are totally out of wack, so if you value your life at all, you will leave me alone."

"If you'd just talk to me, I'd..." I put up a hand signalling him to shut up.

"There is nothing to talk about Aiden," I said. "You were screwing around with another girl, which is completely inappropriate under the circumstances, but-"

"Wait," Aiden interrupted. "What about you and that guy? What's his name? Daniel? Do you think that's any better?"

"First of all," I growled. "His name is David. And second of all I wasn't screwing him!"

"Whatever, you're being really hypocritical. Just because you weren't going to have sex with that guy doesn't make it any better."

"It was a date! It was completely harmless!" I exclaimed.

"Kayleigh, you're pregnant! How is dating someone else, when you're 6 months pregnant harmless?"

"You're a jerk," I said, narrowing my eyes, and trying to push past him.

"Wait Kayleigh! I'm sorry that was out of line," he said, trying to grab my arm.

"Damn right!" I said.

"Look, I'm just...I know that we're not together or anything, but it just...I don't like seeing you with other guys. I want to be the only guy in your life, I want to be the only guy to share this with you." He said, placing his hand over my stomach for a second.

"Aiden, I...don't know what to say to that."

"Kayleigh," he said, in that annoying sympathetic voice. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I should have thought about it before I...well you know. Anyways I'm just really sorry. Can you forgive me?" He gave me a hopeful look, that made me want smile. Inwardly I sighed, knowing I couldn't handle being mad at him for much longer anyway.

"Yeah, sure, I forgive you," I said.

"Really?" He asked, looking taken aback. "I would have thought it was going to take more than that for you to forgive me." I rolled my eyes, and suppressed the urge to smile at him.

"Yes really! Now leave before I change my mind!"

"Yeah sure," he said. "I'll see you later then I guess."

"Bye Aiden," I said, quickly walking away from him.

"Bye Kay."

"Caroline!" I called, throughout my house. "I'm home! Are you here?"

"I'm in the kitchen!" She called.

"Hey," I said, as I walked into the kitchen, kicking off my shoes, and throwing my backpack on the floor as I went. I pulled out a chair and sat down at the kitchen table. It took me a few seconds to realize, Caroline had not been alone. Sitting across the table from, was David.

"David!" I exclaimed surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"He came to see you," Caroline answered for him, raising her eyebrows at me.

"Yeah, I didn't know you were still in class, but Caroline let me stay over for a bit," he said, giving me a dazzling smile.

"Really?" I said, flashing Caroline a discreet look. "That was nice of her."

"Just doin' what I can," she said, giving me a cheeky smile.

"Actually, David, I'm not feeling to good. You know, pregnancy sickness and stuff."

"Oh, really? I'm sorry Kayleigh, I didn't think it'd be a big deal if I just came by," he said, concern coloring his tone.

"No, its ok. It's just morning sickness and stuff. So you should probably go," I said pulling a pitiful look.

"Of course, yeah. Feel better alright?" He said, getting up from his seat.

"I'll walk you out," Caroline said, shooting me a look behind David's back.

"That'd be great," David said.

"I'm sorry, David," I said.

"It's fine," he said, walking over and kissing me on the forehead. "I'll talk to you later. Call me if you need anything ok?"

"I will, thanks for being so great about it."

Five minutes later Caroline walked back into the kitchen.

"You dirty little liar!" She crowed.

"Shut up!" I cried, putting my head in my hands.

"What's going on? Why didn't you want to see him?"

"I talked to Aiden today," I confessed.

"What'd he say?" She asked curiously. I sighed and launched into my story, telling her all that had happened and all that Aiden had said. By the time I was finished she looked as confused as I felt.

"So what does that mean?" She asked.

"I don't know," I whined. "It probably doesn't mean anything at all."

"Kayleigh, you don't see the way he looks at you. He really likes you, I can tell. And I know you like him, so what's the problem?"

"It's a lot more complicated than that," I mumbled, picking at a loose string in sweatshirt.

"How is it complicated?"

"It just is, Caroline," I sighed.

"No, I think you make it more complicated then it needs to be." I was about to shoot back a witty remark, when the phone started to ring.

"Hello?" Caroline answered. She listened for a few seconds, before handing the phone over to me. "Speak of the devil."

"Hey Kayleigh!" Aiden's enthusiastic voice chirped.

"What do you want, Aiden?" I sighed trying to fight the smile that was slowly spreading across my lips.

"For you to listen to me for a few minutes! You've been really stressed lately right? And much of it is due to me, so I've come up with a plan to help you unwind a little bit."

"Oh yeah?" I asked slightly curious now. "How do you plan on doing that?"

"Well it involves you, me, and and a little cabin in Brockenridge, Colorado!"

"Aiden...are you trying to take me on a vacation?"

"That's the plan!"

A/N: I'M SORRY! I'm sorry it's so short, and I'm sorry it sucks, and I'm sorry it's taken me FOREVER to get this up! I had a severe guilt trip the other day when I realized how long its been since I updated! It's just I've had a severe case of writer's block, and also there's this guy who's been occupying most of my time so you can blame him for my lack of updating. ;) Anyways, review and I'll love you all forever, and ever, and ever!

Love ya all!
