Sometimes I wonder…

If the feelings behind my words,

Are unheard…

Sometimes I feel,

When I try to tell someone how I feel,

That they only hear the words,

And my feelings are tossed aside.

Sometimes I wish people would tell me what they thought,

How they felt,

What they truly mean,

As I listen to them and help them,

I just wish someone could hear me the right way,

And not in one way.

I tell you I like you,

But it feels like you take it as a joke,

When I actually mean it…

I care about you, more than I should…

Sometime I wish I could spend time with you,

But I know sometimes…

It can’t happen…

I guess I can just stick with my hopes…

And maybe one day I’ll truly be happy.

I dream today for a better tomorrow,

Not for just me,

But for those who deserve it.

Not to be successful,

But to be happy,

And not just that tomorrow, but all tomorrows…

Dreaming of the day we all can be happy,

That better tomorrow.
