I warn everyone before they start reading any of my arguments, to take my opinions with a big grain of salt. These are my opinions and my ideas, I am not trying to persuade anyone, I’m simply stating my logical reasoning. I will say what I said in a previous dissertation, if you do not care for my thoughts on humans, then disregard me and move on with your life. However, if you wish to keep going, here we go.

Good and evil are perverted concepts. There is no good and evil.

If there were good and evil, then there can never be a triumph of one over the other. This is because the balance of the world would tip off its natural fixation, its natural flow. Without the balance of “good and evil”, there cannot be life, there cannot be any existence; because life out of balance is chaotic and would cause massive implosion.

Getting back to my initial point, good and evil are both very perverted concepts. Unfortunately, this idiotic, dysfunctional idea has been embedded and continually engrained into our minds since birth. This is especially true in regards to exactly WHAT is good and what is evil.

What is good for someone may be evil to someone else. This reiterates my sociological point that the priorities of individuals will never be similar to others. They constantly combat and contradict each other. Unfortunately, it is a hard argument to remove the idea of good and evil without using examples that I believe fits into each category. However, picture this: what the Pope thinks is good and evil is nowhere similar to what Charles Manson thinks is good and evil. You may state that Charlie Manson is insane; well I can use many different examples of conflicting points of view. Gandhi thinks one way and George Bush thinks something different. There are different preconceptions about these ideas and they are never the same with any two people. My evil is not someone else’s and neither is my conception of good. Since there are no consensuses on these ideas, there is no concrete evidence that supports it in favor.

Now people would believe that there has to be good and evil. The evil of anyone starts with the conditioning of people by their societies. Evil and good are more of societal then moral. They are concepts that we are instructed and conditioned to accept. We are instructed to accept and BELIEVE that these ideas are important, correct and real. THEY ARE NOT. There is nothing that is real or true about good and evil. They are both manmade concepts.

Now, and read closely, you must realize that even the words, the WORDS of “good” and “evil” are manmade. This begins the manmade portion of this idea. There were no such things as good and evil until we gave them names. How come mankind is the only species on this planet that seem to consider that there really is such notions of good and evil? Dogs and cats do not give a shit. They do operate on basic instinctual functions of their brains, I’ll give you that. However, before you go off on a tangent, understand that humans are not much better. We still operate our lives out of the basic, more instinctual motor operations out of the brain. Barely a percent of our brains access the logical portions of our brain. I know this by seeing the dumb shit we try to pull off everyday.

Getting back to good and evil, the largest source of the idea comes from religious people. I never say texts because religious texts were created by mankind and so the notion of what was good and what was evil in religion stemmed from people. Once again, a reiterate the fact that these two realativly stupid ideas are manmade.

I am not saying however, that these concepts lack purpose. There are things in the world that I believe to be evil. Those notions that I believe come from my morals. However, I question the fact that they are my morals, perhaps these are the morals implanted in me by my parents and my environment. I am not entirely sure, that’s the reason I am writing this damn thing. I believe killing people is a bad thing. It goes with my sensibility. However many types of people, gang members, drug dealers, certain soldiers, politicians and religious leaders don’t seem to have a problem with butchering people so long as it suits their interests. That is when people try to turn an evil thing into a good thing. That is when I simply say NO. If you want to embrace these ideas, then stick to your damn guns and do not muddle the lines between the ideas. I’m looking for a little consistency. Unfortunately, I am not finding any consistency, especially from “moral” leaders. There is utter bullshit. I believe, since they do not exist, they are just actions, there is one way I can describe them. They are not polar opposites, trying to distinguish good and evil is like trying to describe the same side of a coin. The corruptions and agendas of humans take these notions of what should be good and what should be bad and completely perverts them to their own ends. Some people, like me, believe that torturing people is bad. However, anyone who is into S & M would say something completely different. There is no consistency in these arguments. There is no balance.

I do believe something of an overall form of good and evil exist, but it isn’t called these perverse terms and separated into two polar categories. That is a stupid thing to do and humans do it too much. Humans like to group an entire spectrum of things (such as emotions, thank you Donnie Darko) into a few categories and say that is that. Life is more complicated than that and all items on these spectrums deserve their own classification. People have to get beyond this entire notion of good and evil or else mankind will never grow. When people believe homosexuality is evil and religious genocide is good have no place in the modern world. This is the type of thinking back when the world though was flat and that the stars were celestial beings (thank you Bill Maher).

I am willing to negotiate, but I doubt that you will persuade me. I am skeptical and a huge fan of the Socratic Method. This means I question every answer that arises, no matter what. There is an equal question to every answer. You are welcome to draw conclusion and to try to punch holes in my logic, there are bound to be some. However, you cannot deny what I have written is true in some sense. That is it. Until next time.
