Do you remember how you felt for me,
In this grey world?
Do you remember how it is like to read,
From fingers that stream out words?
Have you wondered if my frozen heart thaws,
By the warmth of your smile?
That your sugar coated lips frightened me,
So I lived in denial.
But the book had came to the end,
And I may not open it again...
Long ago,
You bid me “farewell and move on”,
As you hold dear ‘precious’ in your arms,
I burst into tears and set things aflame,
And as of today,
You see what I have been through,
The second is still haunting you,
While the first love remained in the dark.
Then I remembered how your lips kiss mine,
It was so stale,
But the curse you cast on me,
Caused me to follow your trail,
And then I waited for the waves to carry,
Your voice to me,
But you were busy wandering your eyes,
To other flowers you see.
So the book came to an end,
Now I cannot recall the old pain.
Though I’ve forgotten the sweetness of your lust,
And laughed at your failure in trust,
I can’t believe how strongly you need her,
And I’m just your former dark lover.
Now you know,
You cannot seem to move on,
Hiding your pain for so long,
Pretending to accept how foolish you are,
And if I may,
Spark up your fury once more,
As the dark lover you once adore,
I’ll tell the world how foolish you are.
