Watching sunlight travel
On the sagging
Symmetrical
Telephone wires
Ringing with a cool, consistent,
Copper-coated
Continuity
Steel behemoths at our side
As the pedal pushes, on, on,
Vibration of our concentration
Extended
Shifting legs, sifting dregs,
Lifting, drifting, fade away
Back again
With naught to say
So kind, the forces out here,
Pressing and pushing us forth
As worlds collide and do their worst
We are the tumbling, tireless after-force
