Hey you guys! sorry this took so long! had some computer issues some of them are still not fixed all the way. I drew some awesome Sandman Pics too but my scanner has defected to the computer's disobedient streak and doesn't want to work now. Hopefully I'll get them up soon. ( LOL Sable turned out Awesome!!) WOW! thanks for all the reviews and feed back I got for chapter 4! I am loving all the alert and PM's I'm getting! Some how my imagination is warping this story into some weird trilogy..XDD Hopefully I'll get everything in line again.

I had a quote here...my computer ate it.._.

Ryan had been cranky the entire day and she placed the blame solely on not getting enough sleep the night before. Daylight filtered into her living room through the curtains which she decided to leave open. The sun was helping her headache immensely as she straightened up the room. Since there was no class today, she had the entire day to herself. A whole day to sit around and do absolutely nothing. And Ryan was not looking forward to it. She let out the breath was holding in frustration as a strip of paper caught her attention.

The white of it stood out starkly from her cherry wood table. She picked up the slightly rumpled card and held it up in irritation. Nolette’s business card. She was wholly prepared to trash the damned thing before she stopped herself. Sucking in a breath, she grabbed her cordless phone and dialed the number on it before she lost her nerve. As much as it stabbed her pride to admit it, she couldn’t let her own selfish arrogance get in the way of academics. The phone rang twice before someone picked up on the other end.

“Hello?” Music filtered through the receiving end and Ryan opened her mouth to say something only to snap it closed again. What the hell was she going to say? She didn’t even know why she called!

“Hello?” Nolette sounded irritated on the other end. The silence stretched as she tightened her hold on the edge of the table in front of her.

“Look, whoever this is, I really don’t appreciate you playing on my phone. Either you’re going to say something or hang up.”

“Can you really help me?” she blurted out in a rush before mentally kicking herself over how desperate she sounded, “Pass, I mean. You know the whole tutor thing...”

“Ryan? Girl, what the hell?!” The woman on the other end asked incredulously before letting out a huffed breath. “Yes I can help you pass your classes, but I’m not going to help anyone who doesn’t want my help. Nor am I going to fight with you for cooperation. You can take it or leave it.”

Ryan took a deep breath. She was willing to give this a shot for the sake of her grades. Despite how she might feel about Nolette in particular, the fact remained that she was failing. “Okay. I’ll take it.”

“Good. Then I’ll meet you in the campus library at 2 pm sharp, Wednesday. Do not be late.” Her voice held a slightly threatening tone. Judging from it, Ryan got the feeling that she didn’t like to be kept waiting. Or stood up.

She nodded before realizing that Nolette couldn’t see her over the phone. “Yeah, Wednesday at 2. Got you.” There was a click on the other end and Ryan hung up the phone. What in the hell had possessed her to do that? Clenching her teeth, she set the phone back down on the kitchen table.

The rooms were just as she left them except for one minor detail... Sable looked up at her from his position leaned up against one of her walls and for the first time since they first spoke Ryan took in his attire. He made a fierce image standing there clad in black leather and what seemed like a thin white cotton- silk blend. She quirked an eyebrow at him.

Fancy.” It was a nice change of pace to see him fully clothed, although she couldn’t quite blame him for his usual shirtless state. It was slightly muggy here. He narrowed his gaze at her and the tell-tale gold hue flooded his irises in annoyance.

The Grand Council has requested your presence in the drawing room.” Despite his annoyance the words weren’t snarled, growled or hissed leaving Ryan standing in awe of his smooth baritone. She met his gaze head on, grey orbs narrowed.

And if I decline this request?” She really had no interest in immersing herself in deamonic politics. Nor did she want to be in a room full of blood thirsty deamons. Tried it once and it didn’t work out so well for her.

I wasn’t implying that you had a choice in the matter.” His eyes had a hardness to them that left no room for argument. Sable’s unnatural green eyes scanned over her faded grey T-shirt and cotton pajama pants before he met her gaze again. Ryan could glimpse the slight amusement that swirled there.

Fancy.” Even though his tone was flat she felt her face heat up. Oh, screw him! Like she knew she had some big important meeting with otherworldly politicians when she got ready for bed. She let out a growl of her own and was fully prepared to give him hell before he gestured to the bed. There was an absolutely gorgeous wine and black fine silk, beaded dress draped across it. Layered and strapless, it looked delicate... and expensive. Ryan felt her mouth go dry as she stared at it before facing Sable again. He gave her a look, as he moved over to the door, letting her know she had five minutes to get dressed and most likely not a second more. The deamon exited, shutting the door with a force that had the room echoing with the sound of it.

Quickly stripping out of her sleep wear, she unlaced the back of the dress and slid it over her head. The fabric felt like butter against her skin and it was a little big but she could manage. Thank God for the built in strapless bra, because going completely braless was out of the question. Her gaze flitted down to her feet which were bare and left visible, although barefoot seemed to be acceptable here. After a final look in the mirror, Ryan made her way out into the hallway to find Sable waiting right beside the door. He glanced at her before making his way down the wing and into another, as she fell in step behind him. Clearing her throat, she broke the silence between them.

What exactly does this council do?” The last thing she wanted to do was go into this blind. Any bit of facts would help her. Sable kept his eyes focused forward, his stride determined, and to her utter surprise he answered her question.

They’re a board of advisors that represent the people under the rule of the royal house. They’re involved in every major decision made.” Ryan inhaled and exhaled slowly. Okay so this council was a big deal. Very important. She squared her shoulders, determination etched into her expression. She had no idea what they wanted with her, but she’d be damned if she wasn’t going to make a good impression. The deamon prince glanced over his shoulder, in such a discreet manner she had no idea he was even looking. The resolve on her face intrigued him almost as much as her sudden shift into ‘business mode’.

How many members are there?” He shifted his gaze away from her as she lifted hers to him. That familiar burning in his eyes distracted him from the slight irritation at himself for his misplaced interest.

Three.” His voice was dead panned. Ryan was pleased that he was readily supplying answers to her questions. Something that was very unlike the deamon, from what she knew.

You’re being exceptionally helpful today.” She told him with a suspicious glance. His response was to glare at her in barely leashed anger, his eyes a delicate balance between gold and green. The redheaded human immediately sucked in a breath and shut her mouth, making sure to stay a few extra steps behind him. A good fleeing distance. If he was in a good mood earlier, she had clearly just ruined it.

They walked in renewed silence as they approached a large set of heavy, gorgeously decorated oak and gold doors, which Ryan assumed was their destination. Sable leaned into them, pushing them open a crack and she slipped inside before they shut behind her with a resounding ‘boom’. Her heartbeat quickened as she glanced around the large room. She suddenly had the urge to run out of the room. It was lightly lit and there was a long rectangular table with gold and copper engravings etched into it and around the table sat three older, stone faced men, all glaring at her like she was something nasty they stepped in. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Her breathing increased and she wrung her hands together out of fear and nervousness. She was beginning to wish the deamon prince had decided to join in on this meeting. Get a grip, Ryan. You’re not a baby!

Be seated.” One of the men demanded making her jump. For an old guy he had a pretty commanding voice. Even more commanding then the prince, himself. Nevertheless Ryan found herself scurrying across the room and seating herself at the opposite end of the table. The three of them continued to glower at her. They looked to be somewhere in their late sixties to early seventies, with full crowns of white hair.

So,” The deamon to her left leaned forward and peered at her, his ice blue eyes narrowing in disgust. “This is the human ’guest’ who is currently inconveniencing his majesty.” Her fear melted into a quiet anger and she clenched her jaw shut to keep from spewing a biting retort of her own. She was inconveniencing him?! That was rich. The councilman across from him swept his narrowed autumn gaze at the table’s occupants.

Does this child have a name? Speak.” Ryan narrowed her eyes right back at him. She was getting tired of these deamons ordering her around like she was three. She didn’t care how intimidating these old men thought they were, she wasn’t going to sit by and let them talk about her like she wasn’t there.

My name,” she growled out slowly, “is Ryan and I am not a child.” The deamon directly across from her fixed his eyes on her, even from two yards away she could see the gold bleeding into the man’s obsidian colored orbs.

I am nine hundred and ninety seven next month, to me every soul in this kingdom is but a babe.” Ryan couldn’t fight the slight chill that ran up her spine at that thought, although the chill was soon followed by irritation. I am all powerful, hear me roar. Obviously this man prided himself on his age and position a little too much. She folded her hands in her lap and fixed them all with a tense smile, her grey eyes focused and serious.

Good. Then maybe you can clear up a few things for me.” The man to her left snarled in a way that reminded her of some wild beast. Quite a startling sound from such an old man. He pointed his stern gaze at the other two men in the room.

We are not obligated to answer her anything she asks!” The eldest held his hand up to him in a silencing gesture and the man’s eyes flooded with gold in a silent rage. Ryan got the feeling he wanted to break that man’s hand off, but knew better than to try it, which made her think twice about speaking so crassly to him.

Speak your questions.” He spoke, his tone soft and deadly. She swallowed, and unconsciously began fiddling with the folds on her dress. She figured it was outright rude to ask them their names. After all, that hadn’t worked out so well with Sable and if at all possible, she wanted to avoid another attempt on her life.

How do I address you?” Ryan spoke the words slowly. The eldest one seemed pleased by her question and quirked an eyebrow at her. “Many address us as ‘Elder’. You may do the same.” What was that? Some kind of title?! It didn’t help her ‘name’ situation any so she resorted to using their personalities as a basis.

The eldest one was obviously full of shit. And thought more highly of himself than he should. Him she mentally dubbed ‘Elder Snob’. “Okay.” She exhaled gaining some confidence back.

The deamon to her left glared at her in annoyance. “How long do we have to humor her ignorance?”

It’s our duty to educate this lowly human in the way things work in this realm. Or would you have her be an embarrassment to us?” The old man to her right rebuffed. Ryan’s left eye twitched in annoyance. Really, like I’m not sitting right here. But obviously they could give a shit less. ‘Elder Prick’ and fucking ‘Elder Asshole’.

The asshole gave her a meaningful glare before ordering her to continue. Although she was irritated as hell, Ryan clenched her fists in the soft silk of her dress to distract herself from the sudden urge to punch them in the face. This was the best time and place to get answers to her questions, which she was sure they wouldn’t be supplying if she tried to attack them.

I take it there aren’t many humans here?” She asked glancing at the three of them curiously. The snob glared at her as if she was dense and explaining this to her was a chore.

There are no humans here. Occasionally one of your kind will find a way into this realm but that hasn’t happened in centuries and the last time it did, he was quickly dealt with.” The satisfaction in his voice sat ill with her.

Wait, so this isn’t dreamland or a paranoid delusion or something?” If not she was seriously screwed. The prick looked at her like she was an idiot.

No,” his voice was stiff, “It’s not.” Ryan huffed unconsciously. Okay. So she fell into some parallel dimension every time she went to sleep?! That sounded completely ridiculous even in her thoughts. Ryan doubted she’d be telling Dr. Amirez that little bit of information.

Did anyone ever get out of here without dying?!” Her voice held a slight ring of panic. Elder Asshole shrugged in nonchalance. “Not that I know of, then again no one really takes notice of those matters.”

I see.” She clenched her jaw. It was apparent everyone thought very little of her species here. She should have expected that. Hell, even Sable was disgusted at her being human. Ryan looked up at the council men her mind suddenly taking a different train of thought.

So how much can you tell me about you deamons?” The Prick narrowed his gaze at her before answering her question begrudgingly. “Your insignificant human life is but a pittance to that of a deamon. While your live spans barely a century we live on for a millennium.”

We heal quicker, and our immune system is much stronger than that of a human not that were immortal mind you, we have our failings. We get sick – rarely-, we grow old and eventually we die as does everything.” Elder Snob shrugged nonchalantly. Well that was a relief, although the thought of them living for so long was not. She briefly wondered how old Sable was before she shook the thought out of her head.

How is it that all of you can push me back into my world?” That was a question that seriously needed answering. Maybe then she could find a way to counter it. Having people just up and send her away when they wanted was annoying as hell.

It’s just an exertion of mental energy on- well, whatever we wish. As his majesty divulged, the doorway you found seems to be in your unconscious state. A little ‘push’ if you would is all it takes to momentarily rid ourselves of you. Although we’re still searching for a more permanent solution.” Something about the way he said ‘permanent’ didn’t sit well with her and Ryan squirmed in her chair under the hard gazes of the three older men before clearing her throat again.

And the royal family? What about them?”

His majesty the King took ill a couple of centuries ago. He was a respected and fierce leader. A shame really.” Elder Snob cocked his head in thought, “That son of his has much to live up to.” Ryan’s eyes snapped fire at him but she held her tongue. The disgust in his tone irritated her for a reason she couldn’t put her finger on.

Indeed,” agreed Elder Prick, “The one mistake the king made had a large enough consequence. One that we all must suffer. Let’s just hope there are no more royal screw ups.” Her brow furrowed in confusion. Screw ups? What the hell were they talking about?

It seems His Highness has exceptionally poor choice in women. If it wasn’t for our prince’s unfortunate birth from the one he happened to impregnate, we’d be hailing a more capable heir. But let’s not dwell on past mistakes, as if he’s not enough of an embarrassment to our kind.” The Asshole seethed as rage flooded through Ryan. She was so furious her entire body trembled as she clenched her fists until her knuckles were white. She could take them bashing her and her entire species. It pissed her off but she could restrain herself. But now she wanted nothing more than to beat the shit out of the members of this council and she didn’t give to shits that they were elderly. They were talking about Sable, their own prince, and for some reason, to her that was completely unacceptable. She glared at them, rising from her seat.

You shameless sons of bitches.” She seethed. The entire room went silent at her hissed words. She was surprised given how incredibly mad she was that her voice didn’t tremble. It did however betray all the venom and ill will she wished upon the deamon elders before her. Even as gold flooded their irises she didn’t back down.

Sable is your prince and his birth is in no way unfortunate. He’s respectable as a ruler and if you had one ounce of honor in you, you would insult the parentage of the man who has the power to wipe out your entire existence, you fucking cowards.” Ryan grit her teeth. Not able to stand being in the same room as the back stabbing councilmen she turned to stalk towards the door only to find the deamon prince standing in the door way.

Only Sable’s unnatural green eyes betrayed his utter shock and confusion. She defended him? His mind couldn’t seem to wrap itself around that fact. Although fact it was. He’d heard her. Why the hell would she do that?! They narrowed their gazes at each other as she shoved past him, swallowing the lump that was forming in her throat.

What are you looking at?” Ryan growled at him before gathering the skirt of her dress in trembling hands and hurrying down the polished marble and glass hallway. She had never felt so stupid in her life! Nice going, idiot! She had no idea why what the council had said upset her so much. Why should she care what they thought of him? It didn’t concern her! What right did she have? Sable scared her senseless. She didn’t like him. They weren’t even friends! For crying out loud,…

Ryan nearly fell backwards as she returned her focus to where she was going only to meet Sable’s intense green gaze. She was starting to hate the way he moved without making any noise. He gently steadied her, gripping on to her forearms. Startled by his soft touch she pulled away from him harshly, grey eyes narrowed in a glare.

What?” her voice came off agitated as Sable eyed her curiously, his eyes trained on her as if he were trying to find some ulterior motive for her actions.

Why did you do that?” Although his voice was calm the underlying frustration bled through. Her stomach knotted in nervousness and her hands fisted unconsciously in the silk folds of her dress. Shit! Tell me he didn’t hear that!

Why did I do what?” He swallowed the growl that was rising do to her insolence. It annoyed him that even with her level of intelligence she forced him to talk to her like a child.

Why did you say that to the council?” Ryan tried to look anywhere but in his disconcerting gaze as she wrung the silk from her dress in her hands.

I don’t know why,” she admitted harshly, “It just made me so mad to hear them saying those things…” She let out a huffed breath and Sable’s eyes shifted away from her as if he was calculating her response.

Did you mean it?” Ryan turned to look at him and spoke truthfully, her ire returning.

Every word.” They stood in silence staring at each other in slight confusion. Sable was speechless. She thought he was honorable and decent and yet…

I don’t understand.” He admitted, stepping away from her to rake her with a puzzled glare, “You-”

I know it’s stupid,” She sighed, running a hand through her hair in agitation, “We don’t even tolerate each other well. And I had no right to say what I said in there. We’re not friends. To be honest, you terrify me and yet in some macabre way- I respect you.”

Sable stared at her stunned. Should he have been stunned at all? Ryan had to be one of the strangest beings he had ever met. She stood before him looking rumpled and frustrated with herself. For a human she was.. Brave? Intelligent? Valiant? Quick-tempered? Stunning. Sable frowned at himself. He was in no way continuing that line of thought. For her to be stunning he’d actually have to like her.

What did they mean? About your mother?” she asked softly and he visibly stiffened as his eyes flashed gold in rage. He whirled around to face her, glaring.

What about my mother?” His growl was so caustic that she took several steps back. Ryan verbally backpedaled, making her sentences run together in her rush to explain.

One of the councilmen, he said that your birth to that woman was unfortunate and if not for her- they would be hailing a more capable heir.” He vaguely wondered which one of the appointed men had made such a bold comment as he fought, with every nerve in his body, the urge to storm in there and rip them all limb from limb. But for some reason he didn’t want Ryan to look poorly on him which was stupid. He shouldn’t care what she thought. She was just a human. Her respect for him shouldn’t influence him one way or another. He glanced away from her and grit his teeth in annoyance.

I am only half deamon.” He growled, “No one but my father knows of my mother’s heritage, and apparently that’s a secret he fully intends to take to his grave.” His father was a fool and everyone worshiped him like he was some kind of god. It irritated the hell out of him. Ryan bit her lip in thought. Things were starting to piece together slowly. She slowly started making her way down the halls again, not in the least bit surprised that the deamon prince started walking beside her.

Do you remember her, your mother?” She asked curiously. He tossed her a sideways glance before shrugging.

A little. She died when I was still young.” She frowned and gave him a meaningful once over. Hell, he didn’t look that old to her! “How old are you anyway?” she blurted out. Sable growled in annoyance at her, his eyes flashing gold as he backed her up against the wall.

You ask a lot of questions for a human.” Glaring back up at him, Ryan made a warning sound in the back of her throat. She refused to let him intimidate her.

Excuse me, for being curious, you know since falling in to parallel dimensions with deamons is the norm for me.” Her words were dripping in sarcasm. That seemed to be Ryan’s native tongue. Sable huffed and moved away from her. As much as she irritated him she did have a point there. They continued walking in an angry silence until they reached her room doors.

I’m two hundred and fifty four.” He told her gruffly, keeping his gaze trained ahead. She paused, not expecting him to answer her. Ryan gave him an exaggerated wide eyes stare.

I’m sorry can you break that down in relation to a human life span? My insignificant human brain can’t handle large numbers.” Sable’s lips twitched into something that was almost a grin at her caustic reply, which made Ryan’s breath catch. He was actually kind of cute when he wasn’t glaring and growling at everything. Did you seriously just think that? You are losing it, girl!

I would be turning twenty five next fall.” He humored her and she grinned at him.

You know, I figured it was something in there... You have a baby face,” she glanced him over again, “But you look good for an old man. Holy shit! We just had a decent conversation and no one died as a result!” she feigned shock.

He looked at her his green-gold eyes swimming in amusement and annoyance, as he swung her room door open. “Alszik jól.” Sable nodded to her before turning to leave. Ryan’s brow furrowed as she took a cautionary step forward. She really needed to learn this language, being out of the loop was irritating.

And in English that would be?” She called to him.

Good night.” The annoyance in his voice was almost tangible as he threw the translation over his shoulder. She watched the deamon prince disappear down the hall before stepping into her rooms and closing the door. Pressing her back against the hard oak, she let out a frustrated breath.

Well what’s so damn good about it?” Ryan murmured to herself. The Grand council was probably after her head by now. What in the hell had possessed her to stick up for him anyway?! He was a prince wasn’t he?! She was sure he could have handled that better than she did.

Ryan Parks, you’re an idiot.”

Ryan stifled a yawn as she pulled up in front of the large old Victorian house her parent’s owned. It still looked as pristine as it did the day they built it. White with dark blue trim and three stories, the place seemed to tower over all the other two story houses in the area. She vaguely wondered how her mom had convinced the builders to put in a ‘spacious loft’ that eventually became another floor, on the place seeing at the neighborhood had a strict height requirement on the houses there. No doubt her father paid them off. Susan Parks was a woman who got exactly what she wanted. Always. It was kind of impressive how her mother could manipulate people to do her bidding.

Shutting her car door Ryan moved up the walk way and the three steps before fishing the key out from under the welcome mat and letting herself in. She heard her mother’s aggravated huff before she could even lock the door behind her.

“You know I hate it when you do that, Ryan. You knew we were home, all you had to do was knock.” She fussed while pulling whatever dinner was, out of the oven. . Mrs. Parks rolled her baby blue eyes at her daughter in annoyance, her graying red hair pulled up in a French roll, as her husband shuffled into the kitchen.

“Oh leave her be, Susan. She knows she’s welcome here.” William Parks smiled at her in that warm fatherly way of his, “Hello, pumpkin.” Smiling back, Ryan moved to hug her father and gave him a peck on the cheek. Mr. Parks was a gracefully graying, slightly balding brunette with a rotund figure, although Ryan liked to think of him as ‘pleasantly pudgy’. He was a sweetheart of a man and loved both her and her mother unconditionally. And sometimes Ryan felt sorry for him. He was very complacent and mild mannered, while Susan Parks was dominant and pushy, meaning she walked all over him.

“I haven’t been here two minutes and already your wife is driving me up a wall.” She murmured her voice low as her father pat her head and chuckled at her. She knew he felt the same way she did most of the time. When there was no one around to bug, Susan Parks continually lectured her husband. Ryan and her father were partners in suffering.

“I heard that.” The older woman glared at them, before putting her hands on her hips, “like the two of you don’t drive me crazy sometimes. I swear-” Mentally blocking out her mother’s venting, Ryan opened the cabinets and started pulling down plates and glasses. Every two weeks she was obligated to sit through one of these family dinners although personally she’d rather trade verbal barbs with Sable than shoulder her moms nagging. She shook that thought off. Hell no, she wouldn’t and she really needed to get that deamon out of her head.

“How is school going by the way? Come next year I want to host the graduation party of the century!” Ryan held back the groan that was threatening to spill out of her throat as she caught that part of her mother’s monologue, “ We’ll invite all the important people, of course, like the mayor and his son, and maybe that nice little O’Connor boy you go to class with. His mother is a wealthy socialite. Oh and all your father’s business friends and their families of course-”

“Dear,” her father interrupted with a tense grin, “Ryan might like to invite her own friends. It is her party after all.” Susan immediately dismissed him with a wave of her hand as she took the plates from Ryan and started filling them.

“William be serious, we both know Ryan doesn’t have any friends. Hell, for that matter, we’ll probably have to knock her up ‘Invitro’ if we’re going to ever have grand children.” She rolled her eyes as her daughter gaped at her in disbelief. What? So she was trying to get her pregnant now?! Ryan snapped her jaw shut and glared at her mother.

“There’s not going to be any party. I’m failing and I need a tutor.” Her voice was blunt and biting. Susan turned to stare at Ryan as if she’d grown two heads, and her daughter didn’t even flinch.

“Tutoring? Failing?!” her voice rose as steadily as her indignation, “You must be joking. We Parks don’t fail and what idiot told you, you needed to be tutored? I swear if I have to go down to that school myself I’ll-”

“Is there a problem with school, Ryan?” Her father asked calmly from his seat at the dinner table. Oh Crap, he’s in senator mode. The soft tone of his voice and his stern expression were blatant clues that her father was ready to put his power to use for the sake of his daughter.

“No.” she drew out the word with a huff as she started filling the glasses with wine, taking occasional sips form them. “I just need to focus and try a little harder. I can do this on my own.”

“Oh you’d better!” her mother cut in, “Do you know how much Pre-law courses cost?! I am throwing you this party! After all that money we put into school for you, you at least owe me that and so help me you’d better have a diploma in your hand when you walk through that door!” Ryan stared at her mother’s back in indignation. This woman and her nerve! Her father quirked and eyebrow at her but had the good sense not to comment on it.

“Ryan let your mother do all that. Come play chess with your old man.” He patted the seat next him in invitation.

“Were about to eat William. Get that thing off the table.” Susan shooed the senator away from the table as soon as she laid eyes on the chess game he was setting up for him and his daughter. Ryan let out a frustrated sound from between her teeth as she started massaging her temples with her thumb and forefinger, her migraine already becoming slightly unbearable. She eyed the glass of wine she was filling before downing it and refilling it with more.

Well that didn’t help. She cleared her throat to get her parents attention. “I’ve got a migraine, is there any-”

“It’s in the cabinet in the upstairs bathroom.” Her mother told her annoyed before she placed the food on the table and went back to chiding her father. Rolling her eyes, Ryan made her way upstairs which turned out to be quite a feat. She never remembered them as being so hard to get up. By the time she reached the top her head and her vision were swimming. Her grip tightened on the railing and she took two steps into the hallway before everything blacked out.

Okay, I apologize for how short this is. It would have been longer but my computer spontaneously descided to eat half the flippin chapter. I promise the next one will be much longer. It seems Ryan doesn't hate Sable as much as she lets on. *insert evil laughter here* Let's see where this newfound respect takes her... Please read and review (It makes me happy and happiness = inspriation) and see you all in Chapter 5!
