AN: Should be studying, but ah well, literature – the stuff of the human soul.
Darling
Great lovers quote great poets,
spinning their feelings like
leaves bear fruit blossoms.
Unfurling and unfolding
depth and fragrance
of stories starting to bloom.
I fear I have no such words, my darling.
Great poets form great lovers
like mud babies perfected in fire,
mere humans romanticised in letters,
written between beating hearts,
now inked in the pages of our speech.
I fear I still have no such words, but perhaps
the silence might be our poetry,
and our love, its muse.
