Basically, me getting kidnapped by Seth and getting sent back in time. Go figure. I'll be sure to bring lots of hell and chaos upon this Egyptian Mythology story. Mwahahahahaha!!! *coughs*

What History Homework?

Introduction

It started out like any other day in my life. Wake up early, put on my school uniform, eat whatever’s in the kitchen than go to school. Boring, that’s how my day started off as, boring. But it’s what happened after school that things got interesting then.

I finished cleaning up some litter my school had around the playground. It was one of the jobs students have to do every quarter of the school year after we rotate. I was still new here in this school, about four days at the most and already I like this school better than my old one. My old one was more of a ‘Zoo’ than a school. Everyone was so loud, I could barely hear the teacher and I always get picked on and made fun off because I’m a goth and a weirdo. But what I hated most was that they kept on mistaking me for an emo person. They’re so stupid, they can’t even tell the difference between the two.

I growled at the memory of those days where I would be left out on a lot of things. I’ve had so much anger inside of me that I’m ready to spill it out on the next person that annoys me. But I just smother that anger out as I looked around my new school. It was a private Christian school with a church right next door and another building for the classrooms next to the playground. They say that once they finished building the classrooms in the building we’ll move from the P.E. rooms to the building that’s right next to us as well. I couldn’t wait.

School was over in less than five minutes after I came back in the classroom, grabbed my backpack and walked out the door. I told the attendant at the attendance I was walking back home and handed her the note. She nodded with a smile and I was off, book in hand as I walked back down the hill.

I know I shouldn’t have been reading while walking because than it would’ve saved me the trouble I was getting myself into. My feet made a tap-tap noise against the pavement as the sun beat down on me.

I could smell the soft scent the flowers beside me gave off while I walked past them, paying no heed as to where I was going. I didn’t even notice a bee flying by my ear until I heard a buzzing sound. My heart quickened as well as my breath, I jolted through the air at the sudden sound and yelled. I spun around to swat the bee away when I noticed the bee was the only thing moving around. In fact, the breeze from earlier had gone away. The cars that were moving up and down the hill froze in place. The noise of the honking and the engines from the cars had suddenly become quiet. I couldn’t even hear the birds that were chirping before.

I looked backed at the bee but gasped. It too had become frozen in time. I didn’t know what was going on. The blood rushed to my head, my breathing became uneven and my eyes darted around the area. What the hell was going on?

“You seem frightened little girl. Are you lost?” a sinister voice whispered behind me, making me whirl around and gap at the person behind me. I stared at the blood red eyes staring right back at me. I felt a lump on my throat as I took a step back from the person. I noticed something that shocked me and made my eyes widen. The person standing in front of me had the head of a…dog. ‘What the freak?’ I thought while I raising an eyebrow. “Wh…Who…” The dog/man smirked at my stuttering, showing off his canine teeth that looked menacing. He then took a step forward, I tensed up and my gaze never wavered as he then took a few strides towards me, his bare feet leading him straight towards me.

‘Uh-oh! Sabrina! Think of something quick! Shi-!’ My thought was interrupted by a claw hand clasping itself on my chin and bringing my face upwards, facing him as I let out a squeak while doing so. “You seem to not know me as well as you should, Sabrina.” He said and made a ‘tsk, tsk’ noise. I found that rather annoying and growled while glaring at him. “Get. Your. Hands. The. Fuck. Off. Me!” I sneered while grabbing a hold of his wrist and managed to pull it away.

His smirk, however, didn’t leave his face. He just chuckled before suddenly disappearing and re appearing behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, holding a firm grip on me and catching me off guard. “It seems that the little kitty doesn’t liked to be touched.” I shuddered at the feel of his cold breath on my neck, I struggled to get away from him but he held me there and out his chin at the crook of my neck. “Perhaps it is time to take you away now, kitty.” His voice held such sinister humor in it that it caused me to shiver from it.

“Who the hell are you?!” I hissed out. He remained silent before the sound of laughter suddenly filled the air. The laughter grew until it was booming all around us, making my ears hurt from that dark laugh.

“I am terribly sorry, kitten. My name is…Seth.” By the mention of his name, my blood ran cold there. What? His name was…Seth? As in the evil Egyptian god? The most cruelest of all and the one who chopped his brother into pieces and dumped them in the Nile river?

I turned my head around to meet those red eyes again, staring right back at me with an evil glint in them. The fear invaded me as I struggled even more to get away, far away from this god. If what he said was true, then I don’t even want to think about what he might do to me. I then thought of something and asked timidly but surely “Wait! What do you want with me?”

Seth chuckled before bringing me closer to him, making me tense up again. His body was so cold and stony compared to my warm one. “Let’s just say…you strike a certain interest in me, little Heart.” I froze at the mention of ‘Heart’ and fearfully looked thought ‘Does he know? Please tell me he doesn’t-‘

“Oh, I know very well as to what you really are and I intend to take you with me” Seth raised his right arm then and with a mighty swing, created a tear in the space, creating a ripped part of the space and time continuum. He then looked down at me with a not so friendly smile “Shall we go then?” I fought to break free from his arms as hard as I could but then felt a sudden pain on my head. Everything started spinning as darkness clouded my vision then. I could hear Seth say something but I didn’t pay attention, thinking only of one thing before blacking out ‘What’s going to happen to me now?’ then I succumbed to the darkness.
