A/N: Yes! I've got it! And yes, I'm going to make Sabrina into a powerful being, not a weak, pathetic dansel in distress. Nor will I make her into a Marry-sue! Yuck! She's is not that! Trust me, she'll kill me if I do turn her into one!
Chapter 1-So the story begins…
The darkness surrounded her. She couldn’t see anything through it or hear. She felt a loneliness swell in her heart as she gazed through the darkness, as if waiting for something to happen. All too sudden, a dim light appeared above her, startling her slightly but soon relaxed when nothing else happened. Still looking around in anticipation, she stood up, the crimson liquid covering her in splashes and a few scratches and bruises were noticeable on her body.
Guarded brown eyes looking around as a tint of red became visible in them. She hissed in pain when a large shadow twitched behind her. Bringing her head up behind her, making sure her dark chocolate hair was out of the way of her face. What met her eyes was something anyone would be shocked to find on her back. Wings, not just any wings. Black feathered wings, that of a fallen angel. A fallen angel, sad to say, that was hurt and left alone for far to long. She turned her head back, tears stinging her eyes as she softly whispered out loud to the darkness “Ma...ma…”
A lone tear fell down her face.
She opened her eyes wide as she awoke with cold sweat. Breathing in gasps, she slowly began to decrease the fast-pace beating of her heart while taking in her surroundings, raising an eyebrow when only seeing herself in a dark back alley with the noise of traveling carts and a foreign language filling her ears. Titling her head to the side in confusion, she peeked over at the wall she found herself up against and gasped.
The streets were dirt roads filled with bustling people and carts moving about while stands with many items of interest were up against the walls of buildings made of stone. The people wore clothing not common to her nor spoke the language they were speaking. Feeling scared and worried, she kept herself hidden in the shadows as her brown eyes searched around hr to see if there is anything of use for her. Luckily, there were other peoples laundry hung above her on a rope coming through the carved holes that served as windows.
Smirking, she almost forgot about her backpack she still had on, taking it off and dropping it on the ground and leaping backwards at a good distance before running forward and jumping off the ground. Now, the height the laundry was hung up at was very high and no human should be able to reach it without help. But that’s where it’s not impossible for her for you see, she wasn’t exactly human herself despite appearances and her origins. A dark shadow came across her back as she grabbed some colorful clothing and landed gracefully on the ground, the dark shadow vanishing without a trace.
Grinning at her reward, she scurried over to her backpack and began to take off her clothes when she noticed something. A red sash laying on the ground next to her backpack, innocently laying there before her eyes as a sudden impulse to grab it made her startled a bit before shaking her head and proceeded to change, unconsciously grabbing the sash and wrapping the around the cream colored shorts on the waist as she also put on a colorful shirt that seemed Arabic with a dark brown cape she found in the alley with a golden crest on the side and putting her hair up in a cream colored turnip (At least I think that’s what they’re called…you know, of those silky sheet thingies you put on your head while out in the desert.) and let on her bangs and cat like eyes to be seen while covering her mouth. (Think the King of thieves from the movie Aladdin and the King of Thieves…the third or fourth?) Putting her backpack on after stuffing her school uniform inside, hiding it behind her cloak, she stood up and took a few steps to the entrance of the alley when she stopped.
A tall shadowy figure stood behind her, piercing golden eyes looking down at her. A grin broke out on her face “Akin, I was wondering when you were going to show up.” She said while standing still as a statue, grinning more when said person grunted and replied “You’re always going off getting yourself in trouble, Sabrina.” He said in a dark voice, yellow eyes seeming to glint an unknown light.
“Yeah, well, I wasn’t anticipating getting captured by a God and getting sent back in time now, was I?” Sabine carelessly waved her hand in dismissal, a bored tone in her voice as she turned around and face the tall figure. “But enough about me, I want to know what took my Scythe so long to get here.”
The figure sighed in frustration, stepping out of the shadows to reveal a young man, looking to be around the age of seventeen, glaring down at her, his spiky white hair going downwards (think Chika Akatsuki from Zombie-Loan), olive skin with a strange red marking on his right cheek, a piercing on his right eyebrow while another two sets of piercing was on his left ear. He had on a big jet black color with spikes on them while wearing a black coat complimenting his tall frame that was only part way closed with the ends of it ripped into four parts, each ripped at the bottom, as well as the left sleeve cut off but stitched partly on the other half that was ripped off, bandages on his left arm with two spiky bracelets on his wrist, on the other arm, it was a regular sleeve with a silver bracelet with chains ending only a short ways away from the bracelet itself, a white shirt ripped at the bottom underneath with a velvet red black tie with two metal piercing on the side of it, he also wore bandages underneath the white shirt where it ended far enough to show his stomach, baggy pant with a belt on, a few more belts on his left legs while a on the right leg showed a grinning jack-o-lantern face with a zipper serving as its mouth, and lastly, a pair of black skater shoes with straps on them.
Sabrina smirked at the scowl of Akin’s lips, sticking her tongue out at him as his bright yellow narrowed more, an angry growl escaping his lips before recomposing his look and mutter “Brat!” under his breath.
Ignoring him for a minute, Sabrina looked back at the street and took a deep breath, then sighed out loud. “I wish I knew where were-”
“We’re in Egypt, Cairo.” Akin stated bluntly, drawing Sabrina’s attention back to him. He walked up next to her, looking out at the street with her. “Apparently, I managed to get you and Seth separated right after he took you through that portal. If I had come any later, you would’ve been taken with Seth to Lord knows where.”
Sabrina shuddered at the possibility, not really liking being kidnapped, ever since she was nine…
Shaking her head from the memory, she fixed her eyes upwards and saw the roofs, grinning mischievously as she turned to Akin, grin still plastered on her face. Akin saw the grin and smirked at the thought they both shared, quite literally, and both nodded.
With a great leap, they left the ground made it to the roof. A shadow behind Sabrina could be seen for a brief second before disappearing. If they had been out any longer, one would say they saw a pair of bat wings on her back.

Seth was pissed. Not just pissed, he was pissed beyond pissed!
“Damn that Scythe!” Seth cursed as he punched a tree, ripping it off its poor roots and laying on the ground pitifully, letting out a painful cry no human could hear but a god, or another form of mystical creature, could hear. Seth cringed at the sound of the scream and glared daggers down at the dying tree. Seth wordlessly produced a sword out of midair, raising it up high and brining it down upon the poor tree’s heart, instantly killing it in an act of mercy.
“…I do not wish to hear a pathetic cry such as yours.” Seth said as he turned and left the oasis, a dark aura around him as he walked along the river. Red eyes showing a kind of hatred one would shudder away from.
“I’ll get her, oh dear Cicanduras, even if I have to fight my brother, Osiris in order to do so. After all, with the power such as hers…” Seth grinned wickedly “I’ll be able to track her down and capture her again, gaining a piece of the great key from her heart.”
Seth cackled at his plan, feeling confidant and gleeful of thinking how Sabrina would be in his grasp, his cute little kitten…
Seth paused and shook his head, a tint of pink on his cheeks as he thought this. ‘What the hell? Where did that come from?’
Seth shrugged it off, thinking that he only thought of her like that was because of the times he watched her and saw her personality, taking a certain interest in her.
He didn’t notice the warm fluttery feeling he had in his heart briefly, a feeling he had only felt once when he was Nephthys, a bitter feeling came to him whenever he thought of her, a feeling called Heart-break.

Another pair of red eyes familiar to the first looked through the cape around him, covering most of his face as he stared up at the rooftop, a shock look coming to them. The figure stared at the girl leaping from rooftop to rooftop, her brown eyes holding a mischievous look to them while she elegantly flew through the other, another human behind her with white hair.
The owner of those red eyes, however, did not pay any attention to him but had his eyes fixated on her, recognition on his face s he breathed out a name that he said lovingly and sadly “Harlima…”
The girl stopped then on a rooftop, almost tensing, looked down at the crowd and met his eyes, confusion written all over her features. The other landed next to her in strange clothing and looked down, searching through the crowd and raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
The red eyes still gazed into her eyes, searching for any sign of familiarity or recognition of who he is but only met with puzzlement, curiosity, and interest.
“Sabrina…”his ears twitched at the name and was confused until he realized the other was addressing “Harlima” whom was still looking at him. “What are you looking at? Aren’t we supposed to search for a place to stay until we can get back home?” The strange clothed stranger said to her, causing her to turn to him and replied “Y-Yeah, just thought got a feeling I saw something…” With a nod, they both leaped back into the air and like a blurr, they both moved through the air and onto rooftops, drawing as much less attention to themselves as possible.
The red eyes looked longingly at her, able to see her even though she moved fast, her retreating form causing him to jump and start running through the streets, gliding through people and crowds of them as he ran so fast, the people around him thought it was the wind blowing.
‘I won’t lose you again!’ He thought as he kept his pace to keep up with her own, never once looking away from her ‘Never again! Harlima!’
He then changed from a human to a Jackal while running, making sure to do so as quickly so no one would see the transformation, then ran into the streets, a golden necklace with a red ruby in the middle of it with a golden jackal head on it shining in the sun, a necklace only worn by a god.
Guess who the stranger is! XP Who is Harlima? What is the great key? How does Sabrina posses a piece of it? Why the hell am I asking you these stupid questions? R and R
