Her Name is Love

Her name above all things is love

You'll find her living anywhere and everywhere

But sometimes you might find her living

In the last place you expect

She has the most infectious personality

Laugh and smile

That entrances beyond belief

...

Her beauty baffles

Even if with imperfection

She captivates the more

And in that imperfection

Her vision is poor

She does not see like you and I

And simply she will never die

Sometimes she is clumsy

Misunderstood

Sometimes she does fall

Takes the pain

And bleeds

But she heels and in time

She stands once more

From the sometimes unstable floor

...

Love is both immortal and with her kiss

She bestows upon all the same bliss

Sometimes she wears her own clothing

She self-sewn

Other times she chooses rags to don

But rarest of times she wears a sparkling dress

Of the most grandeur beauty

But surprisingly found in the saddest of mess

Sitting, waiting upon the edge

Of pavement in the falling dark

For that special car to park

To driven away, swept off her feet

...

Somtimes she wears dark

Covering veil

Locks the door and hides from the world

Living in forever secret

In the heart but there

Like chained in a cage

She begs to be free

But she has her own language

One of kind

But many of mind

Sometimes she is melodramatic

Sometimes cliché

And sometimes just happy

And other times ecstatic with glee

So her signs may vary

From big to small

Sometimes not seen

Not at all

So she is blind

And to not be understood

She asks of nothing but one thing

You see

And that one thing is to be felt

So she will be known for an eternity
