Ode to Math

Doing math is like
Walking on a cactus
It’s unusual and cruel
I’d rather hit myself in the head
With a heavy duty tool

Looking at math
Is like looking
At the sun
It makes you go blind
And your brain come undone

Writing math is like
Closing your hand
In a door
It’s so much pain
That you can’t feel anymore

Going to math
Is like walking
In front of a car
You might survive
But you’ll always have a scar

Math in general
Causes many to throw a fit
It’s pointless and stupid
So why bother doing it?
