He feeds you beautiful words,

Wonderful words,

Winding their way around your heart.

Twisting into your brain,

Running through your veins

Until they consume you

Those beautiful words,

The only things holding you up now.

You know that without them you would fall,

Because you’re hopelessly dependent now.

You’re addicted

To the beautiful words.

To him.

So you keep going back,

Though you know he’s ripping them out.

Letter by letter

He rips out the beautiful words he planted.

Tearing your skin and

Ripping at your heart.

Because you’ve become hopelessly addicted now.

The words wrapped around your heart

And now they’re squeezing it.

Like a lasso.

He ropes your heart and has it tied down in just a few seconds.

Because that’s all it takes to receive the first beautiful word.

And you need them,

Those beautiful words.

You need to keep them coming,

Because you’re addicted,

Hopelessly addicted to his beautiful lies.

AN: I got the inspiration for this from the tv show Dexter, actually. So review, if not for me then for him. Please review and have a nice day!
