Chapter 5

"The plan"

Night had already fallen on the city. Vince looked up at the moon as he drove the car towards Elicia's house.

“You know I had a lot of fun tonight!” Elicia said with a big grin.

“We can have more fun later, but daddy's gotta get some work done.” Vince said as he pulled up out front. Elicia gave him a quick kiss on his lips and them stepped back. It was a rather cold one when he watched her back further away.

“Don't fall!” Tony shouted as Elicia started to step out. Carlito started to laugh at the remark while Vince got angry.

“Enough!” Vince shouted. Elicia closed the door and waved to them before running back towards her house. Right as she opened the front door, Vince sped off towards the closest interstate. Tony pulled the MP5 from out of his coat to make sure it was loaded.

“So how are we going to pull this off with just three people? If you can stop by the Don's manor I can probably get about three or four guys to come with us.” said Tony.

“Why do we need more men when I have you two?” asked Vince. Carlito rolled his eyes and then began to scratch his head.

“What if there are more guys waiting for us? I don't think we could shoot our way out then.” Carlito added.

“Just shut up and let me do the planning. I'm gonna wait out across the pier with a sniper rifle, you two go in and do the talking. If anybody gives you crap just fucking shoot 'em. If they got another gun out somewhere—assuming if they have any—I'll just pop them from a safe distance.” Vince stated just before taking another turn. The car rolled up the entrance ramp to the interstate while Vince started to give it some gas.

“It sounds reasonable but this isn't going to be easy. Besides, why do you want this statue so badly?” asked Carlito.

“Because it means everything to me! There's a lot more to it that I don't believe you'd understand.” Vince replied as he merged into the thick traffic. Before he could get into the lane, a squad car cut him off.

.....

“Whoa!” Sergeant Miller shouted as he tried to swerve to avoid the red Jaguar. Alex grabbed the dash before covering his head. The car balanced out before speeding o ff ahead of Vince.

“Some people need to learn to drive!” Alex exclaimed.

…..

“Stupid fucking cops! One day I'm going to kill every single fucking one of them!” Vince screamed. Within seconds the squad car had disappeared from sight. Vince was quite a blood thirsty villain. It was no wonder at this moment he loved death because his idol only brought genocide.

“We still got another hour before the barge arrives, so what are we going to do till then?” Carlito asked.

…..

“We're just going to wait until the barge shows up. Once Vince Horne and his lackeys come out of hiding it's going to be a bloodbath.” Sergeant Miller said finally.

“Whoa, you mean were about to have a shootout? Come on you guys, how do you know that the enemy is even going to attack the pier?” asked Officer Carpenter.

“Vince loves Haman, I know he'd definitely try to get the statue. If it turns out that nobody shows up and the barge just delivers all the goods, then that's one gun fight we don't have to take part in. Then it means that the past few hours of hard work was all for nothing.” replied Alex. Sergeant Miller looked at Officer Carpenter with a rather angry face.

“It's not going to happen like that because Vince is going to be there, we're going to apprehend him, and we're all going to be heroes before morning. Officer Carpenter, if you want out now just say so but don't do anything that would jeopardize us.” said Sergeant Miller as he turned back to face the road. Officer Carpenter lifted his hands and smiled.

“Shit, you know me sarge! I ain't no busta and I'm not going to back down. In fact, you picked the best man for the job I think!” Officer Carpenter exclaimed.

“That's more like it.” said Alex again. The car pulled off on the next exit ramp and then continued downwards towards the pier. Sergeant Miller drove through the front gate and then turned to go park the car in a nice hiding spot.

...

“Here we are.” Vince said after killing the engine.

“So what's the game plan, boss?” Carlito asked. Vince shook his head before turning back to him.

“You're going to do the job just like I explained it to you. If any of you want out now, let me do the pleasure of capping you off because you're no good to anybody if you wont help me. There's a raise in it for you two if we get the statue.” replied Vince. He stepped outside and walked towards the trunk of the car. Tony's eyes flared up with joy once he realized he was getting a raise.

“A raise always sounds good to me!” Tony exclaimed as he stepped outside. Vince reached into his pocket and pulled out two walkie talkies to give to them.

“I'm going to hold onto this one, Carlito's going to take the other one.” Vince said as he handed Carlito the little radio.

“How come I don't get one?” Tony asked.

“Because you're retarded!” Vince shouted. Carlito started to giggle before quickly going silent. Tony scratched his head while Vince opened up the trunk of the car. He pulled out an H & K PSG-1—a very deadly semi automatic sniper rifle from Germany. He loaded a clip into it before aiming it around the area to make sure they were clear. Carlito grabbed onto an AK-47 while Tony grabbed the last rifle—an M4.

“Ain't nobody gonna give us any lip o r they get shot!” Carlito exclaimed as he held the rifle upwards.

“OK, I'm going to park this car around back, you two go get into those warehouses until that barge shows up.” Vince said finally as he slammed the trunk. Tony stepped away from the car before rushing towards one of the buildings behind him. Carlito did the exact same while Vincent started the car back up to pull off.
