Warped Perception
Warp my beliefs from normality
And throw them into the distant abyss
Tear my morality from the core of humanity
And I beg you to dispatch me from existence
I may be a coward hiding my face
And burying my soul in the sands of time
As you stand on the sidewalk with my life in your hands
And your smile sells my sanity for a dime a dozen
As the seconds click by on my wrist band
And my body gets weaker each day
The time of this lifestyle, anger and hate
Takes it’s toll on a person ignored by your God
Constantly fighting for His attention
Your acceptance
All while trying to live for myself
