Forty dewdrops left of center

Turn round twice then try to enter

Spin to left then come back right

Wave your arms and smile bright

If the fairies think you're true

They ll dance the dewdrops out to you

And lead you back among the trees

To smell the flowers and greet the bees

You'll dance upon the meadows crown

As sun and moon both smile down

You'll dream beneath the fairy light

And sleep away the starry night

But when you wake and stumble out

More years have passed then you can count

For fairies don't know mortal time

With brains serene and thoughts in rhyme

Family old, or lost to death

You feel stretched and hold your breath

The world has traveled on it's way

And left your time to sad decay

But you no longer seem to fit

The dewdrops stolen you from it

With stumbling steps you turn around

To see the dewdrops left this ground

And through long years you'll search the earth

Longing for that fairy berth

But dewdrop valleys hard to find

It tends to move, you'll keep in mind

But maybe someday, somewhere, somewhen

You'll find the fairies once again
