Where was I?
I was alone in my bed
Wondering if you were fast asleep in yours.

I was pretty sure
You weren't,

You didn't dream of me.

Where were your eyes?

Mine were closed.
While I bet yours were wide awake
While the moonlight rested somewhere up above our heads.
The same moon lighting up your night, casting shadows upon mine.

Where was your smile?

I was hiding mine,
Though there was no one here to see it.
I was wishing it would fade, and let me sleep.
But I couldn't stop my smile while I was thinking about yours.
