Call a code
I’m falling
And I don’t know where I’m going
Save my life
I need to tell her something

I hear you rushing
But I’m still falling
Nowhere near you
Think I’m leaving
And I feel her picture drop
From my hand to the floor
And hear her being forced
Out the door

I slipped away
You weren’t fast
Enough to save me
And now I’ll never have the chance
To tell her

She’s sleeping soundly
But I see the tears
She knows I’m no longer here
But I had to see her
One last time
Had to tell her
One last rhyme

She clings to my picture
I slip it from her fingers
And slip beneath her arms
I try to kiss her
But I’ve missed her
I’m just too far away

She sighs
But I can’t feel her breath
Can’t hold her in a sweet caress
Our worlds are just too far apart
Miles between our aching hearts

I just came here to remind her
To tell her one last thing
I wanted to tell her loved her
And remind her not to forget me
