This song was written on 1 May 2009.

Bitter Sweet Moment

Standing on the sidewalk
Waiting for your car
You said that you could pick me up
You said you were not far
But you left me in the rain
I don't know where you are
It's a bitter sweet moment
When I realize you are gone

Tell me what to say
To make you come back home
Tell me what to do
'Cause I can't continue on alone
Tell me what you feel
'Cause I just can't say I know
Tell me what went wrong
To make you go

Walking in the streetlight
The night is my friend
I called on you again today
I called to play pretend
Pretending that you loved me
I can't begin to mend
The hole in my heart
Losing you made it deepen

Tell me what to say
To make you come back home
Tell me what to do
'Cause I can't continue on alone
Tell me what you feel
'Cause I just can't say I know
Tell me what went wrong
To make you go

And I can still see you
Holding out your hand to me
And I can still hear you
Calling out to set me free
But these tears still fall
'Cause you never really called

Tell me what to say
To make you come back home
Tell me what to do
'Cause I can't continue on alone
Tell me what you feel
'Cause I just can't say I know
Tell me what went wrong
To make you go

Standing on the sidewalk
Waiting for your car
You said that you could pick me up
You said you were not far

I'm not sure where the inspiration came from for this song, but I'm really proud of it. It is written for a male, I was thinking on the lines of Nickleback, or someone with that voice and genre of music.
