This is a one-shot story about a girl who was absolutely brave, and wild, should took a chance without even thinking about the consequences. No one could figure her out, until she fell in love, and everyone found out the true reason. She was sick and dying, and now she was sitting in her deathbed uttering her last words. If i were to make a real story out of this...this would be the last chapter...i uploaded it for fun because i was bored....so if you decide to read this...enjoy.....

A Kiss to last a lifetime

The monitors were beeping, slowly decreasing in tempo. I took in a deep breath of air, knowing I should savor what was left. I could feel his hand, his green eyes seemed endless and he pushed back his jet-black hair. I could see tears trickling down his cheeks. Memories swiped across my mind, when I first met him I took a giant leap in faith and it fate did the rest. I took another deep breath and whispered, in what little voice I had.

"Stop it, crying is not going to help the current situation." I sighed and projected all the optimism I had into my voice. Could this be the same boy I met just a month ago? If someone were to see him now they would never believe, that this boy was actually the leader of a gang, a cold, violent, stubborn looked at me in disbelief.

"Stop trying to make the situation better!" he countinued

"you're dying! you're leaving me, here!" i pulled his hand closer to me and with what strength i had, i placed his hand over my heart, and settled my hand over his. My heartbeat was fading, he flinched but didn't dare try to remove his hand.

"This, my heart, will never leave you, it shall always be by your side and-" i started into a violent fit of coughingand he held me. Wrapping his arm underneath my shoulder and placing his head next to mine, tears flowing.

"Shhhhh" he whispered, but i continued, "-and just because i was your first love doesn't mean you won't have mo-" he cut me off,

" What do you mean?!"He was in a state of shock, panic, anger, and sadness. i couldn't blame him for being so emotional.

"One day, you'll meet a girl and-" i said, before he cut me off again,

” NO! you are my only love, my true love and i could never find anyone else!" he held my tighter,

"No, one day you’ll fall in love again and-"

"NO-",

"Listen!" i shouted making me cough, i took a few shallow breathes and continued,

" Please! Do it for me! My last wish is for you to fall in love again and lead a life of happiness. Live life to the fullest, Live with no regrets, love with all your heart, and don't ever forget me."

"I could never" he replied. I didn't have much time left, i could my life draining, my vision starting to blur, and my breathes becoming unnecessary.

"I love you" i said as he kissed my lips, the last thing i would feel. A slight tingle remained on my lips, then the last thing i would hear,

"I love you too" he replied. I closed my eyes slowly drifting asleep, a sleep I would never wake up from. My senses drowning out, until-. The monitors beeped a long steady note. He was going to honor her last wish, it might not be today it might not even be until he was 30, but one day. One day......he was sure of it.......
