Kael straightened Rafael cape to make sure it came over the boy’s shoulder.

“Stand up straight or you will look goofy.” Kael whispered to his nephew.

“Yes uncle,” Rafael said.

“Be easy on the boy Kael, he is fine.” Mary told him as they entered the throne room.

“Yes Mary,” Kael said, pecking her on the cheek.

Sariana giggled a little as she took his arm. The three stood off to the side a little ways from the center. The last guests hurried in before the queen gliding up the center. The crowd bowed in respect of the retiring queen. Sir Dasik stood in front of the two thrones that sat on top of the dais. Once the queen was seated in one, a trumpet sounded and all eyes went to the doors once more. Prince Kade and Princess Allaire walked down towards the thrones, her hand over his hand. The crowd bowed once more as they came by. Rafael waved to Allaire and Kade as they came by the three. Kael put the boy’s hand down but could no suppress a smile. Allaire and Kade knelt down before Dasik. Kael watched the coronation with fondness. He could not help but fall into memory. In his mind’s eye, he saw a little princess running away from her mother as she tried to catch her. He could hear the laughter of Allaire as he tricked Kade into sitting on a chair that had honey on it. The golden crown came down first upon Kade, naming him King over all of Rhema and the territories of Rhema and their protector. The second came down upon Allaire, naming her Queen of Rhema and the territories of Rhema. Kael saw her face gloy as the golden crown of Queen Kia was placed on top of her head. Kael looked over at Sariana who was silently crying. He returned her watery smile and took her hand. Of all the things they had been through, he would not trade them for all the gold and sliver in the world. He kissed her lightly and then returned his attention to the coronation.

“Long live King Kade and Queen Allaire!” Dasik cried out.

Cheers and proclamations of the new king and queen echoed the hall. The two stood together and drank it all in. The triumph and hard work washed over Kade as he and Allaire sat in the thrones. His mother stood beside him and patted his hand.

“Your father would have been so proud.” She whispered.

“I know mother, I know.” Kade whispered.

After the crowds dwindled a bit Kael, Sariana, Mary, and Rafael approached Kade and Allaire.

“Congratulations King and Queen you’ve made it this far.” Kael laughed.

“It feels weird to be addressed as a queen.” Allaire admitted.

“It will a great burden lifted from my mother though.” Kael said.

Allaire smiled and nodded. The four friends stood there for a while.

“Is that your sister Kael?” Allaire asked.

Mary and Rafael stood off to the side a little.

“Yes, that is Mary and her son Rafael.” Kael said, beckoning them to come forward.

Mary and Rafael bowed to the new king and queen.

“I am thankful for you brother’s sacrifice to leave you and bring me here.” Allaire said.

“Thank you,” she added.

Marry blushed a little, she did not know what to say.

“We have to get back to Fenrion; we will visit you in the spring.” Kael promised.

“You better or I will come up there and bring you myself.” Allaire teased.

Kael laughed and nodded. Sariana and Allaire hugged each other and said tearful good-byes.

“You will make a great queen.” She told Allaire.

“I will miss you but you are so happy.” Allaire said.

Sairana took Kael’s hand and began to walk off the dais, Rafael took Sariana’s other hand and looked up at her. Mary followed behind them. Allaire took Kade’s hand and left the throne room.

“What will become of us now that we have restored peace and become the next rulers?” Allaire asked Kade.

Kade stopped and looked at his beautiful new queen.

“Live happily ever after.” Kade said.

Allaire smiled up at Kade.

“I think that is a good idea.” She said.

Therefore, began the days of King Kade and Queen Allaire of Rhema. Lord Kael and Lady Sariana ruled over all of Fenrion and insured their new subjects that no one would ever come to power that did not inherited the lordship of Fenrion. As for Rafael, he and his mother lived in the castle with his uncle and aunt. Mary never took another husband but instead let the memory of Talin live on. Sariana and Allaire visited each other as often as they could. Sariana marveled many times at the outcome of her life. Queen Kia passed away two years after her son and daughter-in-law’s coronation. She did how ever see the twin birth of her grandson and granddaughter, Prince Adair the second and Princess Katyln.
