Warm summer nights
Spent together but apart,
Silences screaming love
And reality.
Leaves of vibrant reds and oranges
Other hues that match the sky
And the silence screams love
And my heart falls.
White crystals float to the ground
And cover footprints made together,
Where our silence screamed love
And we did too.
The sun brings new beginnings,
Green blades of grass breaking through the surface,
Breaking the silence that screamed love,
And time goes on.
